True Leaf Cannabis Inc., a subsidiary of True Leaf Brands Inc., which owns True Leaf Campus, a 19,500 square foot facility, is located on a 40-acre site zoned for the cultivation, processing, and sale of cannabis in Lumby, British Columbia.

Founder & Interim Chief Executive Officer
Darcy Bomford has over three decades of executive management experience in manufacturing, branding, distribution and sales in the consumer products goods category. Darcy founded True Leaf in 2013 as a private company and took it public in 2015 to become True Leaf Brands Inc, with two divisions, True Leaf Pet Inc. and True Leaf Cannabis Inc. In late 2020, the Company sold off the True Leaf Pet vision, reorganized and emerged with a 100% focus on generating revenue and building a brand in the craft cannabis space. In 1987, Darcy founded Darford International Inc., a manufacturer and marketer of ‘natural’ pet food products and treats under the Darford® and ZeroG® brands.
The company gained a reputation as a quality supplier of private label products and grew to own and operate three federally-inspected production bakery plants in the US and Canada. The Company built a solid white-label client list and sold their own house brands in thousands of specialty pet stores across North America before being sold to CanAm Pet Treats in 2012.
Jennifer Pace, CPA, CGA, MBA
Chief Financial Officer
Mrs. Pace has held her CPA designation since 2001 and completed her Masters of Business Administration in 2008. Mrs. Pace started as True Leaf’s Controller in the Fall of 2019 to lead an internal initiative to improve financial controls and reporting and assumed the position of CFO in March 2020. She was appointed to the board effective September 13, 2020.
Prior to joining True Leaf Brands Mrs. Pace was the Controller and CFO at Progressive Air Services a privately owned airplane engine manufacturer, as well Ms. Pace was a long-time employee, and ended her tenure as the Controller, for PRT Growing Services (annual revenues of $100 million) where she started in 2004 as the Operations Accountant. PRT Growing Services was a publicly-traded company that went private in 2012 changing its name from Pacific Regeneration Technologies as part of the transaction. Mrs. Pace is also an avid volunteer in her community for non-profit organizations including Habitat for Humanity, the Army, Navy & Airforce Veterans in Canada, and the Royal Canadian Legion.
Vice President, Strategic Growth
Over the course of his 7 year career in the cannabis industry, Andrew has worked successfully with a diverse array of stakeholders and regulators to build accountable, community-responsive and financially sustainable business models. Andrew is galvanized by the opportunities legalization presents for Canadians, and is dedicated to reducing social stigma for cannabis consumers, and abating pharmaceutical drug dependence within communities.
Andrew is a co-founder of Kiaro Brands Inc (TSXV: KO), where he served three years as Senior Vice President, and currently serves as a member of the brand’s Board of Strategic Advisors. As Vice-President and founding member of the BC Craft Farmers Co-Op, and a recent Director of the Association of Canadian Cannabis Retailers, Andrew is an ardent cannabis advocate and spokesperson, specializing in strategic planning, public relations, and community partnerships.

With 8 years of operational experience in all aspects of bringing a cannabis company from incorporation to licensed sales.

Lara–Rose has been walking with executives and entrepreneurs to help them be seen and to build businesses around their truest selves. She marries that perspective with her experience in the legacy cannabis industry to True Leaf Brands. Fun Fact: True Leaf’s Master Grower is the love of her life. Together with this team, they aspire to carry on the legacy that built this industry.
